From a societal viewpoint, the key expected output of this project will be a verified new method of business development for emerging markets. This will benefit Danish industry in achieving future growth as the emerging markets rise in importance and their industries grow in competitiveness.
However, the project can also be seen as addressing a broader issue for Danish industry: What kind of jobs and expertise can Denmark contribute to the global economy in order to maintain our society’s wealth? How can a locally driven growth strategy in an emerging market translate into new value and employment in Denmark?
